Making donations

All donations are gratefully received whatever the amount, it does not matter how small it is.

Gift Aid/Covenant
Giving by Gift Aid or Covenant will increase the value of your gift by almost ONE THIRD as we are able to claim back the tax you have already paid.* This can be accomplished in either of the following ways, a one off donation or a regular payment.

Making a regular gift
If you are prepared to commit a regular amount for at least 4 years, a gift that is worth over £130 per year to us need only cost you £8.33 per month. Non-Tax payers should simply complete the accompanying

I wish to make a regular donation by Standing Order or by Direct Debit.

Making a one off donation
If you are not able to commit a regular amount, do please consider making your donation tax effective through the Gift Aid scheme. By making your donation by Gift Aid, a gift of £600 would be worth £789.48 to us. Individuals paying higher rate tax would be able to claim back the difference between the basic and higher rate tax bands, which would reduce the cost of their donation to £473.68.

I wish to make a one off donation.

Other methods of giving
Your employer may operate Give As You Earn, if so you can make a regular donation free of tax. Please ask your employer or ring Give as You Earn on (01732) 520021.

* This is applicable only to individuals who pay UK Income Tax. Gift Aid donors must also be resident in the UK. The Inland Revenue treats your donation as having been made out if income taxed at 24%
