Sexual Violence Advocacy Support

Sometimes the impact of sexual violence affects many areas of your life, not just your emotional wellbeing. Our Advocacy Service offers free, confidential, short-term support to help you identify what's important to you, overcome barriers, and access the support that best meets your needs.

We'll work alongside you, provide information, help you explore your options, and, where appropriate, support you to engage with other organisations. You remain in control of the decisions you make.

We can help you access support with:

• Safety planning and personal safety

• Housing and accommodation

• Mental health and wellbeing services

• Reporting to the police, or weighing up your options

• Domestic abuse, family or relationship support

• Specialist organisations and local support services

We can also:

• Provide information about the support available to you

• Signpost and refer you to appropriate services

• Advocate on your behalf with other professionals, where appropriate

• Support you to overcome barriers affecting your recovery

Our support is personalised, needs-led and centred around you. We work at your pace to help you access the right support, at the right time.
